We went to this place to have lunch. there is not so much choice but the classics find themselves there, either omelette, eggs, pancakes and one or two other choices. Same thing for other meals. the selection includes the classics that is all. The decor is very nice and the staff dressed as in the 1950s. prices are also more than reasonable, as shown in the photo we ate two eggs, meat, orange juice, potatoes, tomatoes and coffee for $5.45 and coffee is at will. There are seating places in the first but the dining room is in the second. The kitchen is very good and the plates are more than generous. I visited the restaurant located down the street that has parking. It belongs to the same chain. I ordered the traditional poutine and it was delicious. I didn't experience any negative effects. Since I can speak some French, I was able to communicate that I have an allergy and confirm that nothing besides fries is fried in the fryers. They marked my dish as gluten-free. I also heard them announce it in French, which made me feel more reassured.
The restaurant offers a dedicated fryer for gluten-free fries and the option of gluten-free poutine sauce. There is a note on the menu board about the sauce.

In town from NYC. Found Louie's in beautiful Sherbrooke, Quebec. The food is very good, the staff is helpful and friendly and the prices are low.

Poutine was out of this world delicious. Montreal smoked meat sandwich reminded us of Malik's in Windsor, ON. So glad we tried it.
