My family and I were recommended to come to the Bokhara brasserie by a close friend and we were not disappointed. This unassuming restaurant attached to a gorgeous Manor House surprised us with the best curry of our lives. We knew we were in for a treat as we walked in a full wall adorned with trophies and certificates of best curries multiple years in a row. You can tell the chefs manni, Nandalal and head chef Bhanu really love what they do everything tasted so beautiful and authentic, and they took the time to ask us how we liked our spice However, Not only was it some of the best food I’ve ever had the wait staff Alice and Restaurant Manager Archish were lovely and very personable as well...
We booked a table after it being recommended by a friend, and seeing all of the awards it had received. The service was friendly, but due to only having one waiter, the service was a little slow. This was a little unexpected, as not many others at the restaurant. The Popadoms chutney were delicious, as were the starters, especially the prawn purée. Unfortunately, we had an issue with one of the mains (the monkfish it had some inedible bits, however this was resolved after speaking to the waiter). The chips were lovely, and very crispy. The chicken tikka masala had nice big chunks of chicken. The overall experience was nice, however, expected more from “the best Indian in Wales”.
I have been coming to Bokhara Brasserie for nearly 8 months and I have to say, this place is amazing! The food is excellent - I have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. The service is also great. Don't let some of the negative reviews deter you - if you're in the area, give it a try for yourself. I'm not sure when I'll be back, but it will definitely be soon. Ate here while staying in the hotel. Ordered the tandoori leg of lamb 24 hrs in advance to share between 6 for £45. Amazing value. Couldn't finish the food so took some home. Starters, main course and dessert all delicious. Friendly and attentive waiters. Would come often if I lived nearer..

The food was excellent and the overall experience was enjoyable in a cozy atmosphere. It was a nice change to not feel rushed between courses and have some time to relax. I would consider this to be one of the best curry dishes we have ever tried and we will definitely be returning.
Highly recommend, we changed our booing time an hour before arrival (we travelled a long way as this was a pit stop for us) the meal was delicious the team were super friendly the value for money was insane, couldn’t fault a thing!
The standard has dropped substantially. Service variable, sulky cooking crew, very limited vegan options, tardy service and several times charged twice over. No apologies, and regretfully can not recommend anymore.
Fantastic service and amazing food. Not our first visit and we Will definitely return. The atmosphere and ambiance is great. For couples and families it’s a perfect place.
