We have passed by this restaurant many times before, but we had never actually been inside until today. We will definitely be coming back again! We started with poppadoms and dips, then we each had a build-your-own regular box and a drink. It cost about £24 with a lunchtime offer, and it was well worth it! Indian takeout can be expensive, so we don't often treat ourselves to it. Each box comes with 2 fillings, 2 bases, a sauce, and a chutney. In my box, I had chicken pakoras and chicken tikka on naan bread squares and chips with korma sauce on top. The korma sauce was delicious! In my partner's box, he had fish pakoras and chicken tikka on naan bread squares and chips with mighty madras sauc...
It had been a long time since I last visited Bombay Bites, so I decided to treat my family to three different vegetarian boxes and some samosas. The food used to be excellent and a good value for money many years ago, but now the cost does not seem justified. The food was just okay and nothing exceptional, and overall the experience was disappointing. It's a shame that the quality has declined from what it used to be.
many bad reviews here, but my boxes were absolutely beautiful. we order in the rule for the collection of evington twog and never had a problem. first order from this branch and also no problems. good size shares, nicely cooked and very tasty. will definitely be ordered again.

Original takeaway that feels unlike any other I've had elsewhere. It fills that void you have after a night out or if you need some comfort food. I'd recommend a bed of chips under your curry delish!
