What happened?! This is my second review of Bombay Grill with my last being a few years ago closer to their initial opening and a full 5 stars. So much has changed.We haven't had Indian from here since before COVID, so a few years, and we were excited to order for pickup. Food was ready promptly for pickup, and when I arrived the restaurant had a very sad feel. A woman seated with her family was complaining her curry dish wasn't the right color and I was internally rolling my eyes. Her husband had his head in his hands out of embarrassment or frustration his food was the only which hadn't arrived. Took my coworker out for her birthday. We had dinner around 5:30pm and we’re pleasantly greeted by the manager and support staff. While ordering, the manager offered his recommendations and even provided us a brief lesson on the history behind Indian cuisine spots in America.My coworker and I were extremely satisfied with the quality of food and the delivery of the food in a timely manner. The sauce, garlic naan, and quality of the meat will satisfy the needs of anyone looking to binge on Indian food.I look forward to returning to this gem in Bay ridge.
The food here is quite delicious, although the service could be improved; it's acceptable but not outstanding. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and features an open view of the street. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and sample. I particularly enjoyed the chicken masala with rice; the Bombay chicken was decent, but the chicken samosa was a bit too dry. The house salad was good as well. Be sure to try the mango lassi—it's really tasty! If you're in Brooklyn, this is a nice spot to visit, especially for the lovely views.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was relaxed, with Indian music playing in the background, and the outdoor decorations and seating created a lovely ambiance. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the banana pakora, chicken tikka masala, mango lassi, and biryani. It’s the perfect spot for desi food lovers like me! I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

One of my favorite places for Indian food! Their chicken tikka masala is delicious, the potato dishes are fantastic, and the lamb curry our server recommended was heavenly. The backyard patio provided a lovely atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The portion sizes are quite generous, especially the samosas! I will definitely return. Just a heads up, their specials menu is for takeout only.
I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for several years, and this is my first time writing a review. They offer a fantastic variety of delicious dishes at reasonable prices, such as Crabmeat Malai, Salmon Tandoori, Biryani, Vindaloo, and many other types of curry. It’s always enjoyable to try something new each time I visit. Plus, the waitstaff are very friendly!

The cuisine is delightful, crafted by a skilled chef, and offered at reasonable prices. The service is also commendable. I highly recommend this spot!
The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. We dined in the backyard on a lovely day. While the seating could have been more supportive, it didn’t impact our enjoyment of the meal or the service. Vegetarian options: We also tried the Channa Masala, which was fantastic!
