We are visiting the Delmarva from the Hudson Valley in NY. We have enjoyed Indian food most of our lives and have tasted offerings from many establishments in the NYC suburbs and beyond. Bombay Social is among the best we have experienced. The renovated industrial style building was comfortable, minimally decorated (a plus in my book) with plenty of open space around the tables and bench eating areas. The three of us hungry diners had lunch with 3 apps and 3 entrees. All were delicious. The chili, curry, and cashew sauces were well balanced with spice and amazing flavors. This is the must-visit spot in Cambridge! The food was truly exceptional, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We sampled a variety of dishes, and every single one was fantastic. A couple of our favorites included the Cilantro Chicken Appetizer and the Lamb Saag. The drinks were also excellent! Thank you all for a wonderful evening; we can't wait to return and try even more of your offerings. As for vegetarian options, there were plenty of great choices, and the paneer dishes were particularly impressive.
We called ahead at 8:15, and the host kindly took our order while we were en route. We arrived at 8:40, and although they closed at 9, their service was outstanding. We never felt rushed at all. Having come all the way from Salisbury, we will definitely be back. They offer Halal food, which is great. The dishes we tried—Pondicherry shrimp, lamb chops, chicken tikka kebab, and tandoori chicken—were all exceptional and incredibly juicy. Everything was delicious! This place is truly a hidden gem. We loved it!
In my experience, this is the best restaurant so far. Here, we can truly savor the authentic flavors of Indian cuisine with expertly blended spices. The service and atmosphere—everything deserves a five-star rating. I highly recommend trying the biryani, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan, along with a glass of red wine on the side. Such a good find in Cambridge! Every dish was delicious, wonderful veggie and vegan options and the service was great! Paneer Korma, Chana masala, onion pakora, and mango lassie were highlights. Regarding family-friendliness, they offer a small kids' menu. Parking is convenient, with a lot just a short walk away, as well as street parking available next to the building. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, featuring a ramp that leads to the dining area.
