The service was friendly. I ordered the Fisherman's platter, priced at $16.99, which included one piece of battered haddock, a generous serving of clams, four scallops, coleslaw, and a lemon. It was decent overall, with a large portion of homemade fries that had an unusual flavor to me. The fish was acceptable, the clams were abundant but quite small, and the scallops were just okay. Is it possible to give zero stars? We visited as a party of five and were seated quickly since it wasn't very busy. However, we waited 45 minutes for our food, and there were issues with three of the five orders. I ordered the 8oz T-bone special, which is a regular menu item at a discounted price of $1, so I thought I would be safe. I requested it medium, but the steak that arrived was far less than 8oz and completely tasteless. For the first time in 20 years, I felt compelled to put steak sauce on my steak. I had asked for their peppercorn sauce, but the waitress candidly informed me it wasn't worth the extra $2 as it was made from powder. The steak was paper-thin, and despite asking for me...
food was good......never received appetizer or large side dish that was ordered...... took forever for server to check in on us.....and when they did they cleared plates that were empty and attempted to remove a plate that was clearly still being eaten of...only after the server tried to clear the plate did they ask if the person was finished and was told they were not. lets just say the server spent more time socializing with other tables than attending to our needs. the bill arrived we had separate bills and they were wrong) some twenty minutes after we finished. food gets 4 stars.....service 1
Always great food and great service and very clean kitchen. Even people giving 1 star say the foods great so ya they obviously just dont like people there. Its always busy but thats because its constantly great portions and food !
Hot turkey and steak are my favs although I'm sure there are others friendly staff and generous portions. Apple blossom desert is amazing!
Server wouldn't get off her phone long enough to notice that our meal was ready. We didn't get what we ordered. Never going back
