I have dined at this restaurant before for a quick bagel and it was decent, although New Jersey is known for having the best bagels. However, my recent experience on 11/26/22 was disappointing. I ordered 3 scrambled eggs and rye toast with a side of bacon, but what I received was a burnt omelette, 3 pieces of untoasted rye bread slathered in butter, and a clump of bacon that seemed to have been stuck together. Additionally, I realized that I had been given someone else's order when I got home. Overall, the food was not up to par and I was forced to call to address the issue.
Went in today (august 26th) first time I?ve ever been, and it was obvious to the daughter, because when I went to order at the cash register she looked me up and down 2 times and turned her back to me to go on her phone, I was patient and stood there waiting for about a minute so she could finish watching her video or whatever, then she asked for my order. I specifically said ?can I please have an egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel? very straight forward and the
Omg these bagels are amazing and I had my fair share at other bagel shops and will only go here from now on. They are made fresh every morning so get there early if you want one straight out of the oven! The bagels are so round, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spreads are so good too! I made the mistake of not getting a container to take home with me and the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Veggie brand is no where in comparison to this shops veggie
Just as you walk through the automatic door there is a display case in front showing maybe 15 different bagels or more...idk. lol But I just ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and I must say, it was probably one of the best bagels I've ever had. And I enjoyed it with a delicious cup of coffee (I even called my wife and told her about it). My perfect way to start the day!

I recently discovered a hidden gem that makes hand-rolled bagels the traditional way. I was thrilled to finally find delicious bagels again. The staff was great and the menu offered a variety of options including breakfast sandwiches and amazing specialty sandwiches. My personal favorite was the steamed pastrami sandwich. I definitely plan on returning frequently.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and the food was just okay, but it was barely cooked. I live only 3 minutes away from this location, but when I got home, the food was barely warm. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here, just go a little further up the road to the other bagel place, where the food is much better.
I watched two of the employees eat with their hands while making my sandwich. It?s very off putting and should really not be happening. If you would like to take a break to eat cool.. I would rather wait extra time than watch people put food into their mouths with their bare hands while they?re making my food. Really concerning..
Ordered from here while staying at the Persephone Hilton, the bagels, egg sandwiches, and coffee were delicious. My only criticism is when ordering on Uber eats there is no option for decaf coffee and they did not send ketchup or napkins, which is really helpful when you’re staying in a hotel otherwise really delicious.

this used to be a good place, but in just a couple of years the owner drove up the price of my sandwich by 6 dollars almost a 60% increase. just ridiculous price for a a bagel sandwich. not going back.
