To make matters worse, the employees wouldn’t release my order to my brother and sister-in-law, even though they share my last name. I had to get out of the car, feeling unwell, to show my ID for an online order. I was fuming! The final straw was a couple of weeks ago when I placed a phone order. When I arrived at the restaurant, my food hadn’t been prepared. The coupon I used didn’t work either, while the employee just stood on her phone, and the manager walked away after I spoke with her about it. It was ridiculously frustrating! This location used to be excellent, but it’s clear that their standards have declined, which is truly disappointing. Additionally, I noticed that I was charged $2.09 for a side of corn with my meal, whereas a separate side of corn was priced at $3.99, even though they were the same portion size. After a long and exhausting day, I had hoped for good service and a pleasant meal at home. Instead, I was left feeling dissatisfied and still craving cornbread.
I wish I had remembered to take a picture before diving in! The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had half a BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, spinach, and cornbread. It was so delicious that I couldn't help but melt with every bite, and I found myself singing the whole time I ate!

Great flavors, especially when paired with the right ingredients! I love her chicken pots, the meat dishes, and the rotisserie chicken. The sides are always a bonus as well. However, it's hard to place phone orders since they never pick up.
I had a great experience on my first visit! I even tried a new way of preparing sweet potatoes, and I loved it. We took advantage of the 2 for $20 special, which was an excellent deal for all the food we received!
