Stopped in Perce on our motorcycle trip on our third week of travel. weather was unusually cold for second week in August, 15C. arrived around 6PM, checked into our accommodations and proceeded to look for supper, first 3 locations we checked were booked for the night. Continued to walk and found this lovely bakery offering pizza, sandwiches and beer, I had to check this out. Bonus factor, outside seating only a biker could appreciate, who else travels with gear for any weather? English was not a problem, food choices were OK, wife had quiche and I had Croc Madame (new experience, ham & cheese on a long slice bread), plus a local craft beer and a pepsi. The four of us enjoyed breakfast here on two consecutive mornings. The cappuccini and cafe au laits were wonderful after experiencing only mediocre coffee on the rest of our travels in the Gaspe. We also enjoyed the breakfast croissant and pastries and ordered sandwiches to go when we left on our travels. Very pleasant friendly service and a pleasure to enjoy baked goods made fresh everyday on the premises. Highly recommended!
Cannot believe they don't accept the credit card! I had to leave everything on the desk and went to the opposite side of Percè to find a withdrawal machine. Reason? They spend few money to keep the credit machine: and what about other shops or restaurant? Unbelievable. Despite that, the sweets are so delicate and fresh that I strongly recommend it!
For an excellent breafast, dinner or dessert this is the place for local food! We had a quick and friendly service too! The banana and blueberry smoothies was incredible. The anana and mango too. Great place! I would recommend it to anyone.
Great bakery. Everything we ordered was delicious including the cafe au lait. We had different types of croissants, a turnover and a chocolate eclair. I felt like I was back in France. Delicious!!
We stopped first thing in the morning for a great latté and fresh croissants. The staff is super friendly and you are steps away from the sea. Will definitely go back! :)
The bakery opened for the first day of the season the day we visited. The lady behind the counter was lovely and very chatty. The food was okay but expensive.
The coffee is hot and flavourful, the croissants are freshly made and sooo rich. The bakery also offers savouries like croque-monsieur and flat bread pizzas.
We stopped for breakfast today and were delighted by this cafe. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Huge portions!
