We have visited the Boulevard Cafe before while on vacation in Villemoustassou. It's a very pleasant casual place to eat on the Circulade with Al Fresco dining on the pavement. We were warmly welcomed but warned that our wait for food would be an hour - very busy with many other diners taking advantage of the warm evening. Simple menu with options of house wine in 1/4, 1/2 or whole carafe, all very reasonably priced. My friend chose the Roquefort and Parma Ham Salad which she had raved about the previous year. I chose the duck which although very flavoursome, was slightly overcooked for my liking - not well done by any means, but not pink as I prefer. This arrived well under an hour so no co...
Lovely little cafe-style restaurant. Parking right outside. Comfortable surroundings in small eating area. Good basic menu - we agree, the Brochettes were fab!. Food was lovely and wine choice limited but tasted good. Service was friendly, excellent and quick. The owner made us feel very welcome and spoke some English which, with our somewhat limited French language skills, made for some interesting and fun conversation! Also good conversation with another (single) diner on an adjacent table who was Belgian and wanted to talk about Brexit and Donald Trump!! Thoroughly recommend this as a place for a relaxing, affordable, unpretentious dining-out experience. A very pleasant evening.
Just had our first meal on holiday. We were recommended to drive into Villemoustousou to the Cafe Boulevard. This turned out to be a great recommendation. Staff were very friendly and attentive. If you go, you must try the brochette terr et mer - two kebabs, one beef the other with Prawns like you have never experienced! Prawns were easily the best i have ever had, really lovely. Great value food.
A very nice place to have a meal where not much else is available. We drive from about 10km away to come here. We appreciate the simple yet tasty offerings on the menu that have large portions you can share.The owner? Server is very friendly. The food is good, the prices reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. What's not to like. We will continue to eat here in coming visits to the area. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Dined here on a number of occasions during a recent trip to Villamoustassou. The food is excellent and Ben and his staff are exceptionally friendly, warm and attentive. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the terrace is an ideal setting in which to dine al fresco and engage in a spot of people-watching.
We were on a camping trip with low budget. He offered us a special menu for 15 euro's that normally is only available at noon. The food was delicious and the setting was perfect. Friendly service. We had a great time!
We found this restaurant towards the end of our holiday, wish we had found it earlier. Maria was very welcoming and helped us with our French. Friendly atmosphere and good food. Would recommend a visit.
