I saw the seafood chowder and jumped at it because it's one of my favourite dishes in cooler weather. This was a disappointing dish. We walked in and this place us one popular weekend brunch venue we stumbled on. Y mistake. Unlike other popular destinations we were made to feel welcome and not snubbed off and it was really delightful to have a waitresses was so brilliant. She was from Canada and just made the start of our day to be the best. We thanks to her shad a beautiful brunch and enjoyed it thoroughly. The waitress from Canada is what really makes a difference and my wife and our friends all thank her for her brilliant hospitality and great manners and service. Five stars from us and we will be back next to enjoy more great food and exceptional service with friends.
A typical Melbournian hipster cafe. The food there was a tad bit overpriced for my liking, but that was not the fault of the cafe. All Melbourne food and cafes are priced similarly.The restaurant gives off a great relaxed and yet rustic ambience about it, and the food, particularly the chicken and waffle, is a must have.Would definitely go back for the chicken and waffle. Sounds like a weird combination, but the meal was definitely worth it, and the sauce just adds an extra flavour unfound anywhere else.
Really fresh, tasty and New York style food. We went here for breakfast as it was walking distance from our hotel. We were the first ones to arrive and it quickly filled up. The food is very New York style so if you want the "old classic" bacon and eggs you need to go somewhere else. If you want to try sandwiches and maple bacon then give this place a go. Worth a visit for great food and coffee.

This place will warm you up - dropped in here on a cold morning and ordered the Shakshuka - baked eggs in a tomato broth with sausage and other yummy stuff. Every table has plenty of hot sauce - so in with a few drops and Bang - delicious.My daughter had the waffles - given she inhaled them I presume they were good. Nice feel of New York in Melbourne...
My son took us here for lunch and I have to say that they do make awesome sandwiches and lunch. The prices are very reasonable for a city cafe. Loved all their creative and tasty food here. Definately the place to grab a burger or sandwich with a coffee in the city.
Went for lunch with four friends, staff where incredibly friendly and we didn't feel at all rushed which can sometimes be the case with busy places. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend this place and the philli cheese steak sandwich
Heading to Duckboard Place to find the art and came across this cafe in Oliver Lane .....different and interesting choices ...another one of the plocal haunts for nearby businesses and tourists looking for graffiti art!!!!

If you're feeling like a meatball sandwich or a pastrami, this is your place. Decent coffee and great sandwiches. Definitely recommended for a bite at lunch. Come off-peak as it packs out pretty fast around lunch time.
Had a Rueben and seafood chowder, both were just delicious. The croutons were cheesy garlic challah which was novel and tasty. Will be coming back to try more food on their menu.
