Kebabs on Clarendon<br/ <br/ Heading on down Clarendon Street en route to a work function and came across Kebabs on Clarendon. Perfect opportunity to experience the rage that is Halal Snack Pack.<br/ <br/ Sign: 3/10 Impressive signage overall for the shop, but only a small sign in the window positioned for people walking by, promoting the HSP. Not sure you would see this from the road driving by, however extra point for lamination and presentation.<br/ <br/ Greeting: 10/10 very friendly team on board tonight, and welcomed with the usual 'Hello Bud, What can I do for you? Would you like the Small or Large, and What kind of Meats? Would you like the Three Sauces? Any Drinks Today? '. I ordered...
I visited a fantastic small kabob restaurant! I dined in on a quiet evening and the owner was extremely friendly. It was nice to see that he genuinely cared about his customers. I ordered the lamb kebab with Greek salad, pumpkin soup, and Turkish bread. The soup and bread were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous and satisfying. The only downside was that the lamb was a little burnt and lacked flavor. The restaurant could also use a makeover as the decor was not very appealing to me. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return as the other menu items looked enticing. Although the prices were a bit high for kebabs, this is to be expected in South Melbourne.
Great kebabs. Proper meat, not the processed stuff that is shaved off in long strips. Not greasy either. We really enjoyed our lamb kebabs, I just wished they toasted the turkish bun a wee bit. Will ask for the wrap next time instead of the bun. Generous portions of meat and I asked for extra garlic sauce which they happily provided. Service is genuinely friendly, portions are large for fair prices, and whilst we ordered take-away, it's also a nice place to sit in.
I was in the mood for a nice souvlaki or doner kebab. The memories of Yarralumla Pide House were lingering and making me salivate. I was working night shift so needed something relatively quick. A search of Footscray came across an extraordinarily highly rated Footscray's Best Kebab House (no fooling you in the name) but I didn't have the time to walk. Instead I found a South Melbourne store that was semi enroute with a drive.

YUMMMM! BEST kebabs I've had in a longgggg time, possibly ever! Super tasty, super tender and the team here are absolutely fantastic to say the least. We are only staying in city for a short time but will happily drive the almost hour trip from home to come here. Great place keep it up guys! Ash :
The HSP's at this restaurant are exceptional. I haven't tried anything else and probably never will because the HSP's are so delicious. The employees are really friendly and the pricing is reasonable. I will definitely be returning many times in the future. Great job, guys!
Great family run kebab joint. never been disappointed with great hsps and kebabs and friendly and attentive owner who is interested in the customer's feedback. Could be a little more reasonably priced especially the hsp but I believe it is worth it.
We frequently order kebabs for home delivery at our house. Our go-to choices are the mixed kebabs, chips, and the mixed grill. I highly recommend them all as they are always of good quality, delicious, and delivered quickly.
