Really good experience in the light of the current fuel situation. Being able to speak to someone helpful at that actual site to confirm they had unleaded in stock and check the queue size avoided the ironic risk of using what petrol I did have in a fruitless journey had they been empty. As it happened, they did have stock and the mad panic of recent days also seems to have calmed somewhat so all good : Quick thank you to the friendly lady who answered my call quickly and efficiently, despite what must be a trying time for the staff.
