the lunch on Friday at 14:30 a.m. was quiet, winter garden/restaurant area was busy, but still a few seats available. it was a sunny day, so the opposite was super hot, finally the doors were opened to a very greeted breeelze. beverage orders placed while sitting, drinks arrived and had to pay immediately no option to bill or not card option, only cash, . there is a cash machine next door in the post office for anyone who needs money. waited for 10 minutes to be taken for food order, but as diners who arrived after us were first tried to order food themselves at the bar, was said not allowed to order food at the bar, same waitress followed me back to the table and took the order
A cosy pub with friendly staff. The food is very much pub grub and everything comes with chips and coleslaw. Cheap prices and big portions so if you favour this over quality then you won't be disappointed. Interior is grubby and the restaurant staffs uniforms look like they need a good wash. Also be warned its cash only for food which is ridiculous in Ok for a drink but avoid eating here if you want a good quality meal out
Cosy wee village pub with friendly staff. Good food with massive portions my steak was amazing, the chips were hand cut and the onion rings were the best I've tasted. Great value for money, will return and would definitely recommend. Special shout out to our server Jeannette who was an absolute star.

Amazing little village gem with absolutely delicious food at a great price. Staff all very attentive and can't do enough for you. Cosy, relaxed environment with a real fire to set the atmosphere. I will continue to visit here!
