The location of this restaurant is lovely! It can get busy, so be sure to make a reservation on Open Table, where you can select outdoor or indoor seating options. Despite making a reservation, we still had some difficulties getting seated, but we were ultimately able to secure a nice spot outside. The service was friendly, but not as attentive as we would have liked - we had to remind them several times about missing food items. From a vegetarian's perspective, the menu had minimal options, which was disappointing as Mexican cuisine is usually great for vegetarians. The veggie tacos were average, but the plantains were well-cooked and delicious. Unfortunately, the veggie nachos were lacking...
This place was a bit of a miss for me. The portions are small and very pricey, and the food itself wasn't anything special. The empanadas were oily and didn't have a lot of filling in it and the meat in the tacos was dry and chewy. The staff was really nice and the location is right on the beach so it is a beautiful view. It's definitely a nice place to go with a large group of friends. I didn't get their nachos, but I saw other tables that had it and it looked pretty good but overall I didn't think this place was any special is very basic.
Went on 9.2.2023 and maybe understaff or something. Food served were not something I expect from a restaurant. 1. chicken quesadilla chicken is dry and cheese is rubbery and not melted.2. Esquites tasted very weird. It seems like literally just corn covered with mayonnaise. 3. Nachos barely had any toppings4. Crispy pork belly was pretty much just sweet.
The restaurant advertises half-price pitchers of Sangria all day long. When I tried to sit outside, I was told that the deal is only available at the bar unless I order food. There were plenty of empty tables outside, so it was disappointing that they wouldn't honor the promotion. It seemed like a silly policy to lose out on a potential sale.

My wife and I decided to go for lunch came upon this place called Cantina food was good. Service was great. We sat at the bar. A young men named Dannell the bartender served us food and drinks. He really was a pleasure to be around. We had a great time. Definitely will come back for the food and service.
Me and my gf were in mood for Mexican food and googled this location. The atmosphere was nice and fun, our serve Shannon was very attentive and very friendly. We asked for drink recommendations, and she suggested the spicy cucumber which was beyond delicious. Food was also very good!
The view was amazing, the service was good. Drinks were horrible and even returned 2 and the replacements were just as bad. Food was bland and nothing special. Better food/drinks around the corner at our local Mexican restaurant. Won't be returning.

I'm not sure why they have received negative reviews, perhaps they have a new chef now, but the place is really nice. The octopus was excellent and the drinks were very enjoyable. The staff was friendly as well. I will definitely be returning!
Beware, their $17.99 small octopus plate is super small with only two tiny octopus tentacles.
