This was a birthday treat for my daughter. I booked the table for the Saturday 16th A table for 3 for 19:15 pm. We had table 18 and the Resturant was extremely busy and this added to the atmosphere. The starter came in a respectable time and they were Garlic Mushrooms, Goats cheese and my very over cooked scallops. I told the waiter and he passed it on to the chef. It was a very busy restaurant so i accepted the over cooked scallops. Then came the main course of. 2x well done Sirloin Steaks with chips followed by my order of a filet steak ordered as rare and it came medium to well not even pink and at £32.00 just for the steak it needed to be right. While waiting for our meals, a staff member approached us and informed us that even though 4 members of our group had opted out of the starter portion of the Sunday lunch menu, we would still be charged for them. Initially confused, we were later told that we would have to pay for both the a la carte starters we selected and also for the starters on the Sunday lunch menu that we did not eat. As a result, we were charged for 4 starters that we did not order or consume. This left us feeling shocked and disappointed. It is important to be aware that even if you only want one course, you will be charged for two at El Prado.
Excellent atmosphere, fantastic service and wonderful food! We attended on a busy Saturday night and couldn’t fault any part of our experience. The waiting staff are really warm and welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The quality of the food is outstanding and it was cooked beautifully. I have read a few negative reviews about el prado recently but my experience couldn’t be further from this. I would highly recommend a visit to el prado! We certainly will be going back!
Did not book just turned up in a Sunday afternoon whilst passing , staff got us a table which was nice nd quite Musial with walk ins seeking to be a thing of th past . Food was excellent and restaurant was very nice , Service was excellent and made us feel very welcome . Would recommend without hesitation

I would not return to this restaurant. The steak I ordered was tough, and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she didn't seem very concerned. The quality of the food did not justify the price.
Superb seafood. Stopped here on the off chance pleasantly surprised. Casual ambiance and perfect food. Can’t wait to visit again. Manager was very accommodating in finding us a table.
Over priced meal. Chips nice monkfish awful hake just ok. My wife had to pay for a salad instead of the potato side which would had made her ill. Won't be returning
We were celebrating our anniversary couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon food was amazing the fillet steak was outstanding overall great staff food and drink
