located on the small village square, it is a very pleasant environment. it seems to be more than a bar with food than a restaurant, as there were only a few people drinking when we were there. we had eaten in the pizza restaurant. directly before the week, but decided to try this as all the outside seats were taken at the other pizza place. we had a friendly, pleasant waitress who served us and who was very accommodating overall. the menu is limited, with 3 or 4 main dishes and then a handful of pizza in the offer. our children chose the children's menu, from which I would recommend the steak dragon, as it was delicious after 2 of my young. the chickensuggets, on the other hand, were the hig...
I wasn't that optimistic about this restaurant the reviews on Tripadvisor are a tad luke warm and to be honest it wasn't entirely welcoming at 1pm on a Monday in August. The tables were empty and the waitress was one of those who has...ignoring customers as a core skill. However I was very pleasantly surprised! After sitting for a couple of minutes a waiter came and served us, the menu was fairly limited so we all plumped for burgers, reasoning that they are quite hard to mess up. very pleasant restaurant on the square. I ordered mosquitoes and chips and my wife had the spits of bark with chips and salat. the mush were delicious. the barkwor of my wife were cooked in typical French style, the blue is extremely rare. not for...the taste, but just as I like it, so we have sworn and both enjoyed the rest when our meal. I fight to get my bark in Britain rarely cooked enough, in frankly it is always cooked as I like it, but if they have to ask their meat cooked by them, don't complain after they, as I heard, do a person. would recommend for a good traditional French meal and will go back
A very pleasant spot on the village square for a drink, or for a good value, relaxed family meal. We had drinks here a few times while staying in Sorede, and ate there once. The food is good though not remarkable competent pub grub....The steak and the moules frites that we had were good and freshly cooked. None of us had pizza but the ones we saw coming out to other tables did look good. Service was friendly and efficient.
We visited twice in June 2015. Both times the food was good but not excellent, and reasonably priced. We visited the first time on 21st June which was music night and a pop duo were playing in the square. We sat drinking, had a meal...and listened to the music from 7-11pm and the bill was only 52 Euros. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere, would definitely go back.
the la brasserie des alberes is a restaurant located just a few kilometers from the villa that we rented in the south of France. we went to the restaurant several times and found eating very good and the location at the rande. the local plaza was great for families.
Nothing bad, nothing remarkable but was one of the few places left open when we messed up our timings and arrived in town rather late. Pizzas were the choice (and they were actually pretty tasty, and well laden with toppings). Lovely spot in the...square in Sorede.
my and my friends got the 3-course menu, which was a selection of fish from bark meat fish meal was a fraction of the size. for 17 € I expected faster service and larger portions.
Despite my poor French the staff were very accommodating and the service was prompt. The food was good and the choice of beers was also good. Well worth a visit.
