Brasserie La Banque

This was the fifth or sixth time we came to this restaurant, and the first time we sat in the dining room as opposed to dining at the chefs counter or the bar. Obviously, we like the place and last night we wanted to share our new favorite “go to” with friends. I’m sorry to say that it was meh. Really, the food was fine and the service was ok, given the labor difficulties everyone is having these days. But there are too many great restaurants in Charleston for this standard to be acceptable. We’ll be back, but probably not right away.

I like this restaurant. This was a return trip and the food is good and not over priced, service was excellent and the atmosphere is terrific.
