I seem to be going against the crowd here, but I wasn't very impressed. The decor is lovely, and the service is good, but the food was pretty average. They do have a gluten free menu which is helpful, but I ordered the chicken in a cream sauce with mushrooms, and that was really not what I got. My chicken had been cooked in a red wine with lots of tomato, there were mushrooms, but the sauce was not creamy, and was barely thickened from the braising liquid. Hubby had gluten free pumpkin soup for starters and did like that, so I suppose the dishes were hit and miss.
The atmosphere and ambiance is simply amazing! Great staff and the food is top notch. As for portion size it could be a little more seeing how the restaurant is pretty expensive the dishes I ordered were actually pretty big sized but seeing people around me have a plate with only 40% covered in food is a bit disheartening. The cheesecake and lemon meringue was bomb and worth an order and as it was a special occasion for my GF and I, they organised a nice little surprise when we ordered dessert. Great experience and worth a visit!
it has beautiful interiors with live jazz music in the night! always a nice experience to go and dinate here! it can also be a nice choice for special occasions, as the ambiente is beautiful with high ceilings! I am not too familiar with French cuisine, but eating enjoyed at both places! it would be amazing if they increased the options in their meal schedules!
This place is wonderful. Not only was the decor lovely, but the meal and the service were topnotch as well. Prices, for Central London, were very reasonable and the ambience made it a very special time for me and my friends. Will definitely visit Brasserie Zédel every time I’m in London.

was there after a concert. really nice restaurant and authentic french feel to it. good food, staff and very entertaining live band playing good music.
amazing place for some great foods and desserts. faster service and the dishes are very tasty. we will certainly visit again.
