Bread+Bar restaurant needs to be the top restaurant in Southwest Michigan (I only say Southwest Michigan because I haven't experienced all of Michigan restaurants . Located in Benton Harbor, Michigan, this rustic, magnificent restaurant is a place to dress causal or classy and eat some high-end delicious food. It's my favorite all time so far! The food is second to none. You experience great taste with your eyes before taking a bite. The presentation and intention of these dishes are phenomenal. I also enjoyed the seasoning of the food. There is no need for salt and pepper as I noticed there...
The menu features some unique dishes. I tried the special ribeye filet, but found the meat to be quite bland. The sauce it was served in tasted like A1 Ketchup, which was just okay. However, we ordered an eggplant and pepper appetizer that was absolutely delicious and truly enhanced my dining experience. The staff was friendly and worked together seamlessly. On the downside, it was quite noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures.
The French onion soup was amazing. The Caesar salad was the best I ever had. The croutons were home made I wish there were more than 4 though and the dressing was creamy, fresh, and pungent. I ordered the salmon. It was cooked perfect and I enjoyed the crispy seared texture on top. I feel like there could have been more flavor though. Next time I will order the steak with the polenta. I had a taste of my mom's and it was awesome.
Although it had been awhile since we last visited, our dinner tonight reminded me of how wonderful the food was. Service was great with a relaxing atmosphere. Very much looking forward to another visit in the near future! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They open at 4pm and the place has a down to earth vibe with candles on the tables and low lighting they have a small menu that has a delicious and a unique variety. The drinks are amazing as well.
Food was absolutely disgusting I will never eat there again and the service was horrible they were very rude and was constantly staring at my husband and I like we didn’t belong there.
Excellent service and food. The portions are generous. Above average wine list at reasonable prices. Diverse cocktail options. Good ambiance. We'll definitely be going back.
The atmosphere was nice and Inviting, but food prices were vastly over inflated. For 33 dollars I was hoping to see more than four slices of steak on my plate. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
What a nice little spot. The pepper appetizer was great as was the osso buco. The menu was a little bit limited, but everything was great.
