A strong contender for my fave café in the USA. It's located in a brick fortress, which looks ancient but was built from scratch a decade ago along a blind canal that branches from the nearby St. Joseph's River. Dining here is a multi sensory experience: on a bright summer day the main patio along the canal is lustrous as a Renoir painting: full of vibrant flowers and plasticine succulents. Grab a seat at one of the umbrella shaded tables and watch the masts of the boats bobbing in the marina next door. This is an ideal place to bring your summer beach read or a print edition of the Sunday Times and linger over a lap bowl of coffee and a hearty portion of oatmeal. Or try a power smoothie or...

The space is spacious with plenty of seating options. 5. The staff is friendly and accommodating. 6. It’s conveniently located across from the Whirlpool office. 7. There is a designated parking area nearby.
This cafe is a hidden gem! You won't find a more unique and beautiful place to have a coffee or brunch. (Tip: Park a few places down the road if the lot is full. The yogurt bowl is amazing, but you're really going here for the botanical/ boho vibe more than anything else. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful and tranquil spot to enjoy breakfast during our vacation in St. Joseph! They even allowed my two young kids to choose a "pet rock." It was a lovely and delicious meal set against a backdrop of stunning flowers. I can't wait to go back!
