I went for Christmas dinner on Christmas day with my daughters and grandkids. We were seated far away from the play area, which was a nightmare. Additionally, the carvery food was terrible - the potatoes were undercooked, there was no mashed potatoes, the gravy was watery, and the sprouts were tough. It was not a pleasant experience, to be honest. We paid £53.99 per person and my 16-year-old daughter could only eat a Yorkshire pudding and stuffing because the rest of the food was so bad. I wouldn't go back for Christmas day again, and I don't think we will go out for Christmas dinner ever again. Me and my children visit here frequently, we tend to come on a Sunday for the carvery. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is lovely and the food is always perfect and served quickly if you’re ordering from the menu. I have also visited for breakfast a few times too. The breakfast is always lovely and there is a wide selection of options on offer. I’d recommend to anyone, it’s a fantastic, family friendly place to be!
We visited this food pub with friends and enjoyed a pleasant meal. The menu offers traditional pub food at reasonable prices, without trying to be overly fancy or gourmet. The cocktails were a standout feature, with a special offer of 2 for £10. Although we did not try the carvery, it looked enticing when we visited on a Sunday.
At this manic time of year it was good to attend somewhere that served good food to a large number of people. Instead of the mediocre goods I’ve been served elsewhere) All enjoyed their meals and the service from the staff was excellent. They were efficient and friendly. Thank you to all

We decided to take a break from the rain and visit this restaurant. Our kids are now too old for the play area, which worked out great as we were able to sit in a quieter section. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, consisting of burgers and fish and chips. It was a wonderful holiday treat.
We had tea and breakfast here. Food was amazing, especiallythe breakfast. Service was brilliant. My only negative is that the smoking area like most of these restaurants are at the entry door, we had to walk through a cloud of smoke. There is a softplay here.
I ordered the cheese and bacon burger. Service was quick and my 1/4lb steak burger also came with fries and coleslaw. You have to order and pay at the till when ordering food. I was pleased with my order and the venue is consistently good.
Sunday roast was amazing. Also breakfast was superb. Definitely recommend. Location of restaurant cant be more perfect. Big car park close to beach

Had the Christmas menu the other night. Fantasic food and service with a Big thank you to Finlay and Martin for looking after us.
Really like the atmosphere and staff here. We choose the festive menu which was tasty and well priced. It's very relaxing.
