Pizza was horribly burnt on the bottom and the unpleasant burnt taste was noticable throughout it. Since the owner likes to accuse others with similar experience as not getting the coal fire concept, I will specify, this is not my first experience with coal fire pizza. After hearing that Bricco was awarded the distinction, by an Italian web site, of having the 29th best pizza in the USA , a friend and myself visited the Westmont Nj location on July 11 2024. It was early afternoon and not very busy.We ordered a large Margarita Pie and an order of chicken wings , to eat in.Service was average and we received our order in about 15 min.The crust was just average although several of my pieces were burnt black on the outside edges but not too badly. I have never eaten here before, so I was super excited to find a spot with vegan cheese options for pizza. Sadly I will not be back. My pizza was burnt all over the sides and bottom. The taste of burnt bread was disgusting and upsetting since I paid $18 for a small pizza!
We were waiting for about 45 minutes to eat 1 pizza, we left, the place had 3 more tables waiting even longer than us, the service was disgusting
