On this visit I managed to have my son join me due to him not being on shift where he works at the Olympic Pool in London. He had never been before to this particular establishment and after managing to clear his plate of double Pie, Mash, and this places Pea and Mint Liquor, along with his beaker of coffee, he agreed that I was right to have taken him out to it for Lunch. On getting back to his house we found that the evening meal we planned wasn't needed as we were both full up and only liquid refreshments were needed to see us both through to the following morning.
I'm an old Cockney fella and I was pretty much raised on pie mash savaloys,pease pudding, jellied eels winkles, whelks,cockles In my era there were no chicken shops, no Curry houses,no Pizza shops no super markets in fact it was pretty terrible but I loved the pie and mash and still do and if you are like me or if you just want to try pie and mash then Brook it's a great shop
We were back from Australia and my husband wanted pie and mash as a must do on his list we visited friends in Dagenham and this place did not disappoint wonderful food friendly impeccable service and clean and tidy venue the atmosphere was great everyone enjoying the food smile all round

Out of all the pie and mash within 5 miles this is my favourite. You can sit comfortably in the seats, the food is good and the staff are friendly.
Oh my goodness!! What a delicious find. Pie and mash was very fresh,hot and delicious. Two ladies behind the counter were very nice and helpful.
Usually very nice but the last few times we have been we found the mash very lumpy as though it was not mixed properly and we could not eat it.
