In my opinion, this is some of the best home-cooked food you can find in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. They have two locations: one on Straight Path in Wyandanch and the other on Broadway in Amityville. I've often set up at their Amityville location to sell my books, and I've always left satisfied.
My personal favorite dish is whiting served with yellow rice, corn, and red beans, accompanied by a slice of cake and a drink—either ginger beer, ginger ale, or Arizona energy drink. If you're a regular customer, you know exactly what I mean. If you happen to be in the area and you're in search of a great place to eat, I highly recommend trying Brooklyn Fish. You won't be disappointed.

The food is usually on point at this location. The customer service was trash today. When ordering any types of dinners with the 2 sides, parchment paper should be applied to prevent the meat from getting soaked in any type of vegetable side. I've never had cabbage soaked fish before Drain all juicy sides before closing the tray.. Wyndanch is soooo much better. Our food was made fresh to order. Everything was delicious!!! Especially the fish!!! I love their food!!! Service was great and the employees were very nice. Food used to be really good and then they started to fall off. How you have a soul food place with barely any black people cooking or behind the counter. Then as of the last 2 times I’ve ordered, I found hair im my food and dirty containers. Sure they gave me my money back, but I t’s genuinely saddening to not be able to go there anymore.

The food quality has declined compared to before. I ordered takeout for dinner, and the price per person was around $10 to $20. I would rate the food a 3 out of 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3 as well. I would recommend trying the Smothered Pork Chops and Potato Salad.
