We had a good time at Brook’s. We didn’t stay at the hotel but wanted to check out the food and view. If you’re looking for super tasty food, this might not be the place. You pay for the view and the name. Our server was great, very helpful and fun, however like I mentioned before the food is not big deal. We got the calamari, it tasted a little burnt. My husband got the trio tacos, they were ok. And I got the burger, which I had super high expectations about it but meh… the drinks were tasty, manhattan and old fashioned were very well made and tasty if you wanna go just for drinks.
Obviously this is a lovely place and we have great memories coming here. Our recent visit was a sign of the times with poor reservation experience, poor service and very average food delivered several times incorrectly. Given the prices and reservations commitment required you just expect better all round service from end to end but it's clear they just don't value their customers any more.
Brooks is amazing. From the food and beverage offerings, to overall service and breathtaking views. Brooks is the place to sit on the deck and take I. The food is great. I definitely recommend the guac, hummus, burger, calamari and the blackened tuna sandwich. Beautiful view when you eat outside. A variety of drinks on their menu. The staff is also very kind and accommodating. There is complimentary vallet parking.
The hostess was rude. We had to wait 30 mins even though we had a reservation. Multiple other parties with the same reservation time were seated at the time of their reservation. The servers and bartenders were great. The view was great. Food was just ok.
Gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe! I forgot my jacket and I had a super nice server, brought the heater right up to me. Service and food were great too. Will definitely come back to play and dine again!
While the American Century Championship was going on, the staff was always smiling. It was wonderful to get out of the heat and sun and enjoy a great lunch.

Tri tip tacos are a must! Juicy and flavorful. Brownie skillet with ice cream with a cappuccino for dessert!
Views of golf course and of course the lake. Bartender was excellent!
