Browns Socialhouse is my 105th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.This is a Vancouver based chain. This location has been inside the mall for over a decade. It is the only restaurant apart of the mall.I have been to Browns in South Surrey and Central Saanich, but this is my first time at the Vernon location. Surprising given I have lived here for 24 years.It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday afternoon. I was greeted by a server who gave me water but forgot to come back for my food order.Luckily the manager was on top of it and took in my food order rather quickly.My original server came with my nachos and made a return trip to top up my water.Great service overal...
I've been to browns a few times . Always clean and upbeat and I dig the tunes . The waiting staff have always been polite friendly and engaging very hospitable . The food always tastes great . The only thing is do not recommend is to order your steak well done it will taste charged more then meaty . But they made it up to me with a gift card so il just have something else next time . The drinks are nice and stiff and well mixed . Good place for any occasion . Cheers burgers lit fries are lit cowboy salad is lit .Parking: Something about the parking it's the mall so there is all kinds .
The Staff here are always friendly, greet customers upon entry and give the best service to make one feel comfortable and ready to enjoy a delicious meal from their menu. Love the fish tacos...and it is real fish! Quesadillas were so filling and look forward to trying more items from the menu. Such great servings, service, atmosphere and love from all the servers.
It's really tightly packed for seating which I find takes away from the overall enjoyment. But we really enjoy the food and the service has always been great! Take out I find the food is alright but not nearly as good.Dietary restrictions: I'm celiac and allergic to peanuts, and they've always worked well with me for my restrictions!
