The last time I was there, they totally messed up my order. I ordered a sausage with peppers and onions sandwich, just that, nothing else on it. I expected just that; just a simple as ordered sandwich. Instead, what do they do? Well, they put the sandwich together with the sausage, peppers, and onions, all right, and then they ruined it by putting tomato sauce on it, in spite of the specificity of my order. It was a good thing I caught them. Otherwise it would have been a gastronomical disaster for me. Where I was raised, a good Italian sausage doesn't need any kind of condiments on it. It should be good enough as is. I had to make them cook up a completely new sandwich. It was a total waste...
I grew up with this place and heard it had been renovated, but I was disappointed to find it hasn’t improved. The pizza is soggy instead of crispy, and the interior now looks like a typical pizza joint, losing the cozy restaurant ambiance it once had. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable as well. I definitely won’t be returning. Sorry, but pizza should have a crispy crust, not a flabby, greasy mess. Whoever claimed that the new owner improved the food clearly doesn’t know Italian cuisine or good pizza.
My wife picked up a pie and a spinach stromboli, it was EXCELLENT!!! The new owners are doing a great job and the place looks beautiful now, haven't been there in 3 years and was surprised to learn the business was sold, the new owners really did a nice job!! And I wish the former owners a great well deserved retirement especially Mike, thank you for all the great food and laughs we had!!
Lived around here my whole life and always did take out. Love the square pie here! Actually tried the round pie this time and the Caesar salad. Salad was amazing. The server in the back was very friendly and made some good recommendations. She also gave my kids some crayons and coloring books while we waited for the food. The entire place is remodeled inside for it's 50th year anniversary.

I'm from out of town and came here by a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint! Best rice balls with vodka sauce I ever had. The sicilian pie was phenomenal and broccoli rabe was very good. The service was great and I felt very respected and welcomed by the staff. Will definitely come again next time I'm in the neighborhood.
I ordered a Sicilian pizza, and the guy said they had a square pie. Well, it turned out to be a rectangle and smaller than any typical Sicilian pizza. It was also a bit floppy and too spongy. It was just okay. If they made it thinner and crispier, they could really have something special.
I haven't had Bruno's in a while, and I really wish I lived closer—it's an hour away. Their square pizza is fantastic! I don't think Barstool knows pizza; giving it a 7.3 is way off. I'd rate it more like an 8.6!
Ordered a baked ziti with grilled chicken and they actually forgot the pasta… this is literally just sauce and grilled chicken. Not a single pasta in the dish. At least the pizza slice was good.

Haven't been here in a long, long time. It's still awesome, nice, thin crust , great sauce , cheese and not greasy. Nice and crispy. Great pizza place.
