On my second visit, I picked up tiramisu for my husband since it's his favorite dessert, especially when we visit Italy. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the tiramisu. It didn't taste authentic at all; it felt like many shortcuts were taken, resulting in what seemed more like a vanilla cake with underwhelming espresso grounds on top. The pizza here is truly delicious—both the regular pizza and the gluten-free crust we ordered were outstanding. It's a tasty experience in a charming small-town restaurant bar. The service was friendly, and our made-to-order pizzas were served relatively quickly. As for dietary restrictions, this is the best gluten-free pizza we've ever had! Overall, we had a great dining experience for dinner.
The decor was out dated and the lighting was odd and actually kind of depressing and off setting. Yesterday's soup choices were still written on the chalkboard @3:30p.m. My sister and I were the only two in the place and still got fair service. I had been getting friday fish fry and then my last fish fry was awful. The fish was seasoned improperly, the potato pancakes tasted like cardboard, and the baked potatoes were well done.
