I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here and this visit was no exception. I don't really understand the poor reviews. This place is a relaxed, unpretentious family friendly buffet diner. Perfect for groups, not particularly intimate or romantic, always popular. Service was particularly good today, friendly and polite. New manager since we last visited? Saw the owner who wished us a good evening as we left. We purchased a Groupon for the seafood buffet at this restaurant. We are local, so it was convenient for us. The manager greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. We were promptly served water and a glass of red wine, which was decent for being included in the deal. The buffet wasn't the best I've ever had, but considering the price of the Groupon, it was good value for money. I was very disappointed with this restaurant, especially after reading some positive reviews. Unfortunately, the overall experience was below average. The presentation of the food was lackluster and most of the selection was heavy on carbs like pasta and rice, which tasted overly salty. The fish was good, but it's hard to go wrong with deep fried food. While the buffet prices are low, the lack of variety and quality means it's not worth the money. In reality, it ends up being quite expensive for what you actually receive. I wouldn't recommend it.
