On the 9th of December 2023, I visited your restaurant with 39 other members of our association. As the President of the CWO Bobby Girouard Association Branch in Edmonton, I had organized our annual dinner at your establishment for the past three years. Previous experiences at the Carvery were exceptional - the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home upon arrival. Unfortunately, this year was different. Buffet Royal Carvery Sherwood Park is amazing,We had 2 weeks to set up a wedding, yes it was quick , we stopped in and met with Priscilla, we did a deposit that night to go ahead an use the separate room for functions in the back. In the 2 weeks we contacted her a few times to get it set up, every call was answered and she was great to work with, we only had 2-3 hours from getting in and setting up for the day of the ceremony, we had them set all the tables up for us , we then finished up the decor on the tables, the guest arrived , the wedding was wonderful and fairly quick, they them came back in and we finished up some stuff, reset the tables and chairs, we then started the dinner, and th...
I enjoyed our visit and time at Buffet Royale. Our family came to celebrate my Moms Birthday. the selection for food was decent and I found it very good too. The selection for dessert was limited. Same with the salad bar, both were decent but could have been better. I also was unaware there was Soft serve? Drinks are separate.Service was lacking when it came to visiting our table and getting us drinks, sadly my Mom didn't get her piece of cake. They seemed short staffed. Management was very kind.I'm not big on country music... neither was my family. Maybe have it jump to different genres? Other then that we had a good experience.
I absolutely love Buffet Royale! The food there is incredible, with such a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Every time I go, I'm always blown away by the freshness and quality of the food. The staff is super friendly too, making the whole dining experience even better. I absolutely love this buffet restaurant. It offers a wide selection of food, the staff were excellent, and what really impressed me was that they had beef ribs and prime rib on the buffet line.
Been here multiple times and it's an okay buffet. There are a few items, like the beef ribs, or shrimp that are worth the price. However a lot of the dishes they have lack so much seasoning.
This restaurant is a good option for a family dinner, although the atmosphere is lacking. The food is decent and most dishes are satisfying, but not worth the price of $37 per adult.
