My family and I went to Buonocore’s Brick Oven Pizza yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere feels very welcoming and familiar, and the chef is excellent. All of the food is cooked with wood, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is small, but cozy. We especially loved watching the chef cook our meal and seeing everything happening right before our eyes. He even had direct contact with us and made our visit extra enjoyable. I am certain that I will be returning to this restaurant, and have already recommended it to my friends. Overall, Buonocore’s Brick Oven Pizza is a must-try for anyone looking for great food in a friendly atmosphere
If your looking for a classic mom and pop homemade delicious thin crust Italian pizza then this is your spot! Got the margarita, buffalo chicken, ralphy pizzas. All were soo good. Get the ralphy and ask for kethcup and mayo just the way the Chef likes it. We just landed from EWR and place was closing and stayed up late for us (party of 7). Their service was phenomenal and super friendly. 10/10 on all aspects for service, food quality and cleanliness. I hope you enjoy this spot as much as we did! Buon Appetito!!!
This place is a hidden gem in Heldon, let's start by the REAL wood sitting in the dinning room waiting to lite that oven! All the ingredients are fresh, or homemade. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and really makes you feel at home. The sauce is fresh, the mozzarella cheese is made by the owner himself, a family tradition passed down by his father. We will definitely be back with more friends. Run don't walk to this place! Came down from Toronto, Canada to watch the New York Jets. We were staying in Haledon NJ, and decided to looked up pizza place near us. The pizza is amazing! You can't beat a nice stone baked pizza! Met and spoke to the owner while waiting. Awesome guy! I'm not gonna lie...he made my day. I 100% recommend stopping by, grabbing an amazing pizza and supporting a hard working family man! If you want true Neapolitan pizza.... Made like they do in the old country... This is your place. Carmine and his wife run this business as if they were in the old country, with 100% fresh ingredients, and on the prem homemade mozzarella. The margarita pizza is their signature pie. From the time he makes the pizza, 8 minutes later you've got a hot delicious and scrumptious pizza.Try it once, you'll be hooked for life.
Great little spot, great pizza, owner is super friendly and passionate about his food. My only regret is that we didn't come back for the fresh handmade mozzarella, which he will only sell if it is still fresh. We were just in town for one night a couple months ago and still talk about this place!
I love this place. True authentic Italian food and awesome brick oven pizza made to order. The owners are so hospitable and really care about the food they serve. This place is so clean but most of all the food takes me back to my Grandma's kitchen and my Dad for some good old Italian favorites.

I wouldn't recommend ordering the steak sandwich—it was terrible and really small. Unfortunately, I felt sick after eating it.
