Burhops is an outstanding seafood supplier. We happily drive 30 minutes, passing by another fishmonger, just to shop here. Their prices are quite reasonable for fish that is fresher than what you find at the supermarket. The staff is very helpful; if you're unfamiliar with a particular item, they can guide you on how to cook it. It's definitely worth the trip!

I ordered a 10-ounce walleye today, and when I picked it up, it almost seemed like they had given me butter by mistake. When I pan-fried it, it literally melted in my mouth. Thank you so much—this is the best fish I've ever had!
The meal was not worth the price. I ordered a pound of fish that was almost $30, but it had an overpowering fishy smell that fresh fish shouldn't have. I won't be returning to spend my money there again.

The lobster roll was underwhelming, more like a seafood salad on white bread, and lacked flavor for a $16 sandwich. However, their shrimp spread was outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning for that.
