My husband recently visited the Mount Pearl location, and they refused to prepare 2 burritos and fries because they were closing in 5 minutes. The employee said it takes 10 minutes to make them, so she wouldn’t help him. This is really disappointing! If staying open for an extra 5 minutes is such a problem, why not just lock the door at 6:50 PM?
Jax Express is a great lunch time or evening stop for a burrito. Veggie/chicken/pork/etc. bases, with lots of topping options including guacamole, veggies, cheese and three salsas mole sauces, varying in spiciness. You can also get them made into burrito bowls!
I just had their fries with dressing and gravy. The fries were overcooked and there was barely any gravy. I won’t be ordering from them again. If I'm paying $7.50 for a regular size, I expect much better quality.
Staff were kind and courteous. Had the chicken burrito, was disappointed that the chicken wasn't seasoned so it made the burrito pretty bland despite the addition of other toppings. I probably won't return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
For anyone who has visited a burrito place, this one is fairly typical. You might have to request extra beans or similar toppings (I ordered a veggie burrito), but overall, it’s pretty standard.
Service was friendly but the Ziggy's was nothing like the food truck! Tasted a little freezer burnt or the gravy was off. Will be sticking with the food trucks for my ziggys from now on
