eating was pretty good and the drinks were fantastic. but the hostess was quite rude. I asked for a table for my 2nd party to whom she refused my request and said I needed a reservation for a table. good enough if that is actually a rule (although I had checked her website before and there is no such warning), but it was 5:30 on a random Wednesday, so I thought it was strange. for the swanking, I would understand, but that was unexpected. all the time we were there, over 10 tables remained unoccupied. it also took 10 minutes for someone to take our orders for a rather empty restaurant. the bartender was beautiful and attentive and mixed a medium margarita. but she was quite the only positive...
My friends and I went to this restaurant for their bottomless brunch, which is offered at $25 per person and is definitely worth it. Despite having a reservation and arriving on time, we still had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. However, everything else was great. Our server was very nice and the menu offered a variety of small portions, allowing us to try pretty much everything. My favorites were the huevos rancheros, baja style fish tacos, and the French toast. Kara, the manager, is a wonderful and professional who took great care of us. She definitely knows how to make every client happy. We will definitely be back.
I visited this vibrant restaurant on a Wednesday evening and was pleased to find a great atmosphere. The bar was lively but not overly crowded. I enjoyed a fantastic Guava Peach margarita and delicious pork enchiladas. The mole sauce was particularly outstanding. The bartender, Alejandro, provided excellent service. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the future.
Great food and nice staff. I'd love to see a more robust mezcal selection, as well as dessert options. And, when I was there, there were a ton of college students overcrowding the bar area, creating a potentially unsafe environment. However, that's part of being in a college area. Overall, very positive experience. I recommend the mezcalrita cocktail and the swordfish tacos.

It's no California Mexican food but it's got enough of the flavors to satisfy. The salsa served with the chips is delicious and goes nicely with everything. The chips are lacking a little something but went well.I had the steak fajitas and while I loved the flavor, the crispy onions were a bit different. Worth trying!The place is small so make a reservation if you can!
The food at this restaurant was delicious and one-of-a-kind. The service was extremely attentive. I was surprised to discover that the brunch menu consists of small plates, but this was quickly corrected with no issues thanks to the efficient kitchen. I would definitely dine here again.
Been coming for years. Didn’t realize poor attitude of owner towards customer safety. Doesn’t want to comply with COVID common sense. It’s too bad. Our family and friends won’t be back. Your business depends on healthy customers and workers. Not buried ones. Good luck.
had a wonderful experience. the atmosphere is warm and friendly, the personal makes it feel like home and the eating is delicious! taste a cocktail we got margaritas and they were amazing! of decorations, eating and service burro not disappointed!
