Positive points: Nice location (with great view), not too big of a building, so it's not too noisy and it stays clean, very good tasting food. Very good service. Negative points: Variety of meals very limited, presentation of meals very cheap, the presentation of the food is in small standard bowls purchased at the dollorama, small plastic glasses of water and maple syrup in your plastic container which makes no difference creative. No sugar shack decor on the table. Then, no games for the children or anything, no entertainment, not even a little arcade game to distract the children. Very disappointed with takeaway meals. We ordered 4 boxes, for about a little over $200. The food was very simplistic, almost no preparation. In a sugar shack that claims to be serious, there is usually at least a little love and preparation in their dishes. Here are the details: The omelette tasted nothing, just a big sad block. The ham, a few slices that you could buy in the grocery store, not smoked or artisanally cooked. The bines were without sauce.. or at least not even cooked in any special way. They were common dry bins. No maple syrup was included in the box, only small cups for making taffy on snow... It 's a sugar shack... we expect there to be enough maple syrup to accompany dish...
Tasteless beef!! No ear of Christ, sausages in syrup. Dry omelette. Tasteless ham. At the end we were served taffy in an aluminum dish on crushed ice. No atmosphere. No Quebec music. No entertainment. We were cavalierly told to leave our table by placing the bin of dirty dishes in front of us! Our group finds itself outside and we are quickly asked to leave the premises. In short, not a “sugar shack” experience. And $46+tx for that!!! Really too expensive!!!
