The best lamb biryani I've ever had, and lovely fresh flavours in their curries. Other standouts are the channa bhature and eggplant curry. They will modify the chilli level at your request depending on the curry. I found that Medium was probably the right level of heat for me. Most dishes are about $9, and there's even a lunch special (curry and rice) for $7.50. There're lots of Indian sweets made on the premises (the rasmalai was yummy) and there're only perhaps 7 or 8 tables. We stocked up on some take-away to have for dinner later. The service is very friendly and the food is worth the 40 minute drive it took to get there.
This place is an absolute hidden gem, hidden in the heart of Dandenong this place is a land of curries, gravys , sweets and spices. It will tickle your taste buds to heaven. So delicious and so yummy you won't be disappointed. The boss the staff are so nice and so kind. The food is amazing and so cheap. Such big generous awesome and amazing serves. Do not let the modest décor older style ordering system fool you this place serves the most beautiful, authentic and tasty Indian food I can remember having. We come here all the time and the staff are kind and helpful. Just know what you're ordering! 11/10 amazing. (Great vegetarian options too best lassi)

eating here is totally authentic and delicious. her dahl makhani is the best in melbourne, as her palak paneer. I come here almost every Sunday morning to keep for the week. I live in richmond, but it is worth having the right thing.
Calcutta Sweets is a great place to have Indian traditional food. Especially, If you Miss Chana Bhatura: I will recommend this Restaurant for great Indian taste. You will be surprised to have same food like in India.
