I started with some of the most delicious mussels I've ever had. The seafood was incredibly fresh and clean, with a superb texture—no gritty or sandy bits you often find with mussels. They were served in a flavorful curry-based broth that was neither musty nor overly spicy, but rather packed with flavor. I loved it so much that Sammy brought over more bread, knowing how much I was enjoying the broth! The bread was perfectly grilled, with a nice char that complemented the dish beautifully. I had a wonderful experience! We decided to leave a restaurant where we had a reservation and came here on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. It's obvious that the staff genuinely cares about delivering great service. The selection and variety of specials were impressive. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The food was also excellent, clearly reflecting their attention to quality ingredients and presentation. Thank you!
What a gem! The fun and brilliance of a fine Fellini film, friendly fantastic service, phenomenal food. Stopped in near closing on a Friday night looking for a nightcap, never felt rushed, enjoyed a few drinks and delicious bruschetta snack. Returned for dinner the next day and enjoyed a feast. Definitely will make it a stop anytime I am in the vicinity. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely restaurant in Beacon! One of the best Hudson Valley restaurants that we’ve been to lately. The prices are similar to NYC but well worth it. We all had different dishes and enjoyed them all. I expect we will make this a “go to” place.
We've visited Cafe Amarcord numerous times, and it never fails to impress. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently outstanding. We even make the trip from NYC just to dine there.
We ordered the cacio e pepe and the veal chop special, both of which were outstanding. Unfortunately, we were only in Beacon for a visit, because if we were residents we'd be regulars!
