I try to give a balanced view when writing a report however have to say he service was terrible. This is a coffee shop that's trying to be a cafe however have not got the basics in placeWe got there at 10am and could not find any menus on the table so went to the counter and found them near the tillSo we sat down and noticed it was tabled serve so waited and waited 15 mins later we asked at the till could we order only to be told it was Table services so waited another 5 minutes Right the order was finally taken and we waited some 45 mins and saw lots of people getting frustrated at the lack of attention and leavingAfter another 10 mins we got our breakfast however no coffee I asked the girl...
I had lunch at here today with 5 friends. One friend who is local to the area said it's relatively new so we thought we would give it a try. The menu has a reasonable selection with prices around $15-$16. I had the leek and goats cheese tart with salad. Sounds nice doesn't it.... but alas ''twas not to be. Even though I could taste goats cheese I couldn't any leek. But the most disappointing of all was the size of the serve. Now I'm not a big eater but even for me it was tiny. One thin meagre slice of tart looking lonely on a tiny plate with 4 leaves of butter lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes sliced in half with NO dressing. It was not a salad it was decoration. Unfortunately none of my friends...
We spent the weekend down at pt Willunga and went snorkelling at the lovely pt noarlunga. We had lunch at Cafe Cody on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic, table service which is rare to find at a small cafe and the food was exceptional not to mention the service of the quick, friendly and attentive staff. We went back again for breakfast this morning. Same experience, brilliant! They opened at 10am and it was literally full inside by 10.05am! Gem of a place!
Yum! Went for brunch with a couple of friends, a child and my dog! The food was delicious, the coffee was great and my smoothie was amaaaazing. On top of the great food, the view was great and the staff were super friendly (and anywhere that my dog is welcome, I'm even more happy), can't believe I've never been here before, will definitely be becoming a regular!

My friend and I went to Cafe Cody after a swim and were presently surprised with how yummy the food was here. I ordered a delicious Basil, cashew and zucchini soup which is just what I needed to warm me up after being in the cold ocean. The view is lovely and the staff were welcoming and friendly.
Had breakfast at cafe Cody on the Monday public holiday one of the only places open. Initially concerned that service would be slow due to all the swimmers looking for a coffee. Fortunately they brought on extra staff which were friendly and apologetic. The food was good to
Very beige place. No menus or specials on walls. No ice creams for kids. No atmosphere whatsoever. Very average coffee - more expensive than others in area. Pot of tea $4.50. Food ok, but nothing to brag about.
Really like this cafe. Views to the sea, from inside and the outside eating area. Very friendly staff, and good food. The menu is small but interesting with savoury and sweet items and the coffee is great.

My 3rd return visit, and again delicious food, and the service was quick and friendly. The goats cheese tart was melt in your mouth wonderful. Mum had the lentil pasta, and loved it.
me and my friend went for breakfast at cafe cody and found it to be OK. I wouldn't visit again as there are much better breakfast opportunities at bones or agathas
