Why so grumpy at 8am when there were only 6 people in the café? The waiter was rude, gave us a lecture on the type of coffee one of us had ordered and then brought what he thought we ought to have. A large plate of bread and jam for two came without plates and we had to butter the bread on a not-so-clean table. What a shame. This café ought to be a showpiece of 19th century café culture, but it very much is NOT.
Actually, this coffee is Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde. Depending on the weather depending on the server. 8 January 2024, We moved inside to warm us. Nice waiter. Nice welcome. 29 September 17 hours, We settled on the terrace and waited for a waiter... who didn't come after a quarter of an hour. So we went to the coffee shop.
On a visit to La Rochelle, we went to eat at the café de la Paix. The frame is really very beautiful, the welcoming and smiling service. We've taken really great burgers. But it's very copied, which makes me not able to take dessert. Glass wine is as well. And the price is reasonable. I recommend.

Very good reception, nice server. I recommend the chocolate Viennese, more need to go to Vienna, well presented, of quality and copyy. Ambiance of another time, it makes good...
The half lukewarm of red rose comes from 4.70 euro...It stings...the ice cubes that arrive too late...server lamp magnet...damage because the place is very beautiful.
