The three of us went for dinner on a Thursday evening, the place was nearly empty, though it became busier later. The richly decorated room is warm and inviting; the atmosphere relaxing. The menu was displayed on an Ipad, which is not as practical as a card, but reassuring in those Covid times. The bar has an impressive display of bottles, which are very tempting. Being in Bordeaux, i had to try the rose Lilet, which was very good. My choucroute was satisfying, both in quality and quantity; as was the dessert. For those who don't fancy walking in the center, Cafe du Levant is a highly recommended establishment!
We stopped at this lovely restaurant on our way from Paris to Carcassonne by train and were fortunate to have an hour and a half between connections. We had pre booked our table and were not disappointed with our choice. The decor was in a nostalgic style, the staff attentive and the choice of food that we made was perfect. We would recommend a visit.
Very nice restaurant! However the service is not very fast and efficient, the bad soup was brought to me, but very quickly exchanged after my claim! the onion soup was not bad but not fantastic, the anchovies in the ceasar salad was really too pronounced!
Wonderful service, very attentive to our doubts with dishes. The restaurant truly transposes us to a different time in History. Definitely a restaurant to come again in my next visit to Bordeaux.

Nice place, good food. Service was slow and they forgot our drinks. Nevertheless à place I recommend for a lunch or dinner in Bordeaux. Prices are good .

Un esprit brasserie 1900 mais.... les plats sont très peu copieux, Il est vrai pas trop cher. Le personnel essaie de faire de son mieux.
Très bon rapport qualité prix bel endroit service agréable. Le foie de veau est de cuisson parfaite on a tous été très satisfait.
