Cute eclectic place that serves good food. Off street parking at back limited to 6 cars, perfect for bicycles and bikes.Furry friends welcome Met a couple friends on Sarurday and we sat outside nice enclosure, both tables next to us each had their dogs accompanying them lovely time had by all.Great food, good servers and well presented.Nice friendly srsff. A little expensive, eg for all day full breakfast at $24. Has specials board to mix up variety. Lots of healthy choices. Overall great day had spent 3 hours here...will be back.A special place in Prospect.
Quirky, inviting, and perfect for brunch. Accessed through a narrow laneway directly off Prospect Street, Cafe Komodo boasts a cute collection of vintage laminex tables, with both inside and garden options. The coffee is great (as is the dirty chai), servings are generous and the food is yummy - all brekkie/brunch style. Plenty of specials, vego options, and cakes/tarts for the sweet tooth. Local musicians play here on occasion too, definitely worth checking out. Baby friendly.
Komodo is home to the best Chai Latte I've ever had - though the quality can be a bit hit and miss, I'm not sure who was responsible for the amazing one I had, sadly. My partner is a big fan of the coffee. Whenever we wake up late and don't feel like cooking, we go to Komodo for all-day breakfast and scones. I love the chilled, easy going atmosphere.The food is great, I've never once been disappointed! The portions are generous and staff are really lovely. Absolutely recommend.
Down a hidden alleyway this gem welcomes all. It has lots of seating in and outside in the garden for friends, families and couples. The vibe is chilled with great music. Their menu includes lots of large fresh salads, pies, soups and breakfasts. Recent Sunday morning breakfast in this little cafe tucked in behind shops on prospect rd, been there for ages and is certainly doing something right. This place was hipster before there was hipsters! Great coffee and a mint hot chocolate. Perfect eggs and mushrooms. Tasty date pancakes. Comfortable atmosphere. Helpful friendly staff.
I have been meeting up with a friend here for years and we always love it. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are always welcoming. It is a great place to soak up a bit of sunshine and I have heard there is live music at nights, although I have never actually been at night
it's a very casual, relaxing and quaint little cafe. Great place for brunch with inside seating, outdoor tables and a lay back lounge area. 70's deco throughout. Staff were nice and happy. Food was of a man size and tastes good. Will come back again.

Do look out for Prospect Roads best cafe. Tucked down a little lane, eclectic atmosphere and great food and coffee.
