Cafe Komodo is great, the food is always delicious, I am totally addicted to their chicken burger and range of tasty aiolis! (I forgot to take a picture it was so delicious I devoured it) The scones are yummy, with jam and fresh cream...Also they make and sell coeliac friendly gluten free cheesecake and carrot cake which are both delicious! They've even thought of the customers during these covid times, and you can scan a qr code or download the komodo app to order and pay for food at your table too so no need to go in to the counter if you prefer not to. The staff are friendly and relaxed and I love the 60's surf vibe and garden courtyard setting. Often has live music and fringe performers...
Cafe Komodo is quaint, whimsical and very inclusive, even dogs are allowed out the back. There is a car park via the rear lane way (come that way if you’re bringing dogs) and entry to the cafe via their heated beer garden. Or take a cute little lane from Prospect Rd to enter via the front. Everything there made me smile, from the delicious maple roasted pumpkin mushroom dish I had to the kitsch chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery. Great friendly atmosphere with the other customers they all wanted to pat my friends’ adorable dogs. The live music was lovely and not too loud to overpower my group’s conversation. l 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) the service of manager (remi) and owner (andrew) was very dissapointingich felt that both did not take care of the customer experience, and were more concerned to defend their business practices than to offer a good service (see the other negative reviews, and see how defensive their responses are.) 2. sub par electronic ordering system that sends false information to the kitchen. we got a gin tee instead of a vegan burger 3. the owners published a negative Facebook post about me after leaving a negative review on google/Facebook (see picture.) 4. The vegan muffin and burgers were not too tasty unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.
All day menu. Food absolutely delicious, made to order, interesting and fun. The atmosphere was beautiful in the back green garden area, (although cigarette smoke wafted through a little from people smoking in the carpark area. If that bothers you, there are other outdoor and indoor seating options). A little dark indoors during the day. Staff are amazing , are appear to love working here. Definitely will come again. Cafe Komodo's music, crockery, cutlery, furniture and the atmosphere reflected a retro nostalgia. It brought back good memories from my childhood. My poached eggs were perfect! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. My hubby, BFF and I love this place
Pretty cool place so much character, I found myself constantly scanning around the rooms looking at new things. The food was amazing, best eggs Benedict Ive ever had and the service was excellent. I look forward to coming back.
Great food and good coffee, fantastic aesthetic and vibe. Lovely staff and well priced. I used to come here back in 2011 or so as a teenager and this was my first visit since then and it is better than ever!

Fast service, professional staff. Good iced coffee. Funky decor. Can book online. Also can order at the counter or order and pay online at the table using the qr codes. I had waffles which was yummy.
