We had lunch there and chose the dish of the day described as country chicken with home-made chips. Country chicken turned out to be a leg of chicken which, to be fair, was well cooked and had a few bits of red onion and parsley sprinkled on it which, I presume, was the 'country' element. The chips could only be described as 'grim' - soggy, greasy and they quickly became inedible. The house white wine was surprisingly bad.The service was slow but this was not the fault of the waitress who did her best to seat clients, take orders, serve food, prepare bills and take payment all at the same time which meant she was harried and stressed.

Il s’agit de notre 2ème visite. Entrée : Croustillant d’escargots persillés (x3) accompagnée d’une petite salade légèrement tiède. Goûteux et finalement plutôt rafraîchissant. Plat principal : Magret de canard (4 pièces tranchées) frites maison, échalotes et petite salade. Rien à redire sur la qualité. Dessert : Café gourmand avec tarte tatin, mousse, gâteau chocolat, meringue et crème brûlée. Le service s’est avéré sympathique, courtois et efficace.
Good welcome despite a group meal already present and the day after Christmas. We were told there would be a long wait and in the end we were quickly served. But children eat well, something that is rather rare when you go to a restaurant. Quality, price respected. We were passing through and were not disappointed. I highly recommend.
