I live nearby and this is one of my go-to dessert, coffee, and pastry place. Their lunch quiches are always perfectly fluffy and fresh. The coffee and the baristas are consistently great. My only wish is that they were open for more hours (and weekends) but totally understandable given the slow rate of downtown customers!
This was my first experience with a frittata, and if this is what they're meant to taste like, it will definitely be my last. I could only manage one bite before deciding to throw the rest away. The coffee was fine, but nothing remarkable—just a really overpriced cup of joe. Lesson learned.
As always, Cafe Madeleine is super consistent with what they serve amazing food! The service is also consistently a little slower than what you expect but it is because they make the dish after you order it. People are friendly and the space is clean. Sandwiches and dessert are fantastic!
Hands down the best cafe in SF. Out of this world quiche and pecan pie. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Also best pies I think I have ever had. My family forces me to get the pies every year for Thanksgiving. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The restaurant served a delicious cold vegetable sandwich filled with roasted veggies and hummus. The mango cake was exceptional, and the almond chocolate croissant was unique and delicious.
The desserts at this restaurant are delicious, with the exception of the lemon bar's crust which tasted undercooked. The double chocolate and green tea desserts were especially outstanding.
This small breakfast joint is really cool. I had an amazing breakfast sandwich that was crumbly and delicious. The coffee could have been better, but overall it's a great place!
