Great place for a quick and easy lunch or dinner. We liked the atmosphere a lot. The setting is an exact 50s diner with delicious food from then to now. I tried Grilled Kosher Dog with chili and cheese on it. I was impressed, it had so much flavor to it. My friend had a burger with pepperjack cheese and hand cut fries (without buns and I could really tell that she was satisfied with her food. The service was fast and accurate, however, our waitress seemed a little rude. Great food, great service. We came in with a group of 11 for dinner tonight. We'd called ahead to see if they could take us, so we expected they would have room. When they got there, the table was set up and already had water on it for our group. Our server was excellent--efficient and professional but still very friendly and fun. Our food arrived quickly, and the portions were extremely generous. Everyone raved about the quality of their dinner. The prices were very reasonable too. I would definitely eat here again the next time we're in St. Louis.
Quaint little diner located in Clayton. They offer shakes, chicken fingers, and thin crust pizza, all served on a checkered floor with traditional red stools. Parking may be a challenge, but it's the perfect spot to visit when you're unsure of what you're craving.
One of the BEST. Love the food, love the atmosphere, love the wait staff, love the location. Truly one of my favorite places to eat in St. Louis. I've never had a bad meal or bad service in the many dozens of times I've eaten there over the years.
