Rude lady with the nose ring who fought loud because I paid tip outside of the charge and it was short of her automated calculation. This restaurant calculated tip after taxes which I think could be illegal. For a restaurant that overcharge and looks to be a fancy place the loud fight of the ugly rude lady reflected that of a low class place on top the fact she spoke in a tough rude way. I wish I didn’t even leave the $10 on the $96 bill . They didn’t deserve a dime never thanked me even they had no shame. Shame on everybody there. To the restaurant owner : You are foolish to think it’s okay to fight with a customer and to charge a customer tip after taxes furthermore you are foolish to thin...
I was exploring Queens and stumbled upon this restaurant on the map, so I decided to give it a try. The food was incredible with generous portions and a nostalgic, old-school atmosphere. I appreciate New York City for establishments like this that uphold tradition. Their breakfasts include a hot drink, cold drink, salad, bread, and a main dish, providing a substantial amount of food. I had enough leftovers to enjoy for dinner!
The restaurant offers excellent food with authentic traditional recipes, while also showing a respect for different flavors. I highly recommend trying the avocado rolls and pasta. Everything is prepared well and with fresh ingredients. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating during our birthday celebration.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. In my opinion, their breakfast is the standout star on the menu. However, their lunch options are also fantastic. Stopped here randomly to get dessert and tried this lemon cheesecake that was out of this world. Their service was impeccable and warm. Going back to try their full menu and selection of wine. And of course dessert too.
The eggplant dish consisted of three small half eggplants, not a single half eggplant as expected. I was not a fan of the cream of mushroom sauce flavor.
On a Saturday night, I visited this restaurant with a group of friends and we were impressed with the delicious food and excellent service.
