We went pretty at night but as always greeted with happy sounding hellos. I ordered a wet burrito queso style for my brother who is in love with the queso here. In his words “ it’s the best queso he has had in a long time”. I got me taco salad OMG I could eat that every day and die happy. This really nice caucasian lady with strawberry blonde hair jumped on the line to help because when we got there more people started coming in to. I guess she was a manager because she help from making our plates to telling the cashier to give us a little cup of queso also for my brother. This place is usually my go to favorite spot. The nachos are my favorite. Today I came in and noticed there was some new staff, cool. The two younger guys working the front were so rude and unprofessional. I asked for the medium green salsa, he informs me that it’s extra but proceeds to give me the wrong one and I told him I didn’t ask for that. He tells me it doesn’t really matter they’re basically the same… then on my nachos I asked for extra meat, I only get one scoop. I’m paying extra for all of this and to not get it and receive attitudes when I question it is crazy. This is the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience with them in all the time I’ve been going.
My family and I went to the Rio in West Hills and were treated so kindly by all the staff. We had such a pleasant experience I could not stop thanking the staff for the kindness and patience with us. I can’t wait to go back. The food was excellent as well but it was the staff that made it over the top. Please pass this on to the staff because they deserve the accolades . I've ordered a salad from this place several times, and they've been quite good. However, today, my dressing wasn't sealed properly and spilled the moment I picked it up. I managed to save as much as I could. Additionally, I would recommend putting tape over the lid for DoorDash orders.

We arrived around 8:40 PM, and the restaurant was quite busy. The woman at the counter taking orders was incredibly friendly and greeted every customer warmly. Despite the bustling atmosphere, their friendliness and dedication to customer service made the wait worthwhile.
What can I say about Cafe Rio? The decor is always clean, and it was refreshing not to have to wait in a long line. We placed our order smoothly, thanks to the woman who assisted us—she was very understanding and made sure everything was just right.
I ordered two steak tacos to-go, accompanied by sides of black beans and rice. Before the pandemic, I used to go every Friday for their shrimp tacos, which are no longer offered. However, the variety of meat options they have now are all delicious.
I ordered the taco salad. The tortilla is freshly grilled then they fill it with your choice of ingredients in a bowl. A little different then other places that use deep fried tortilla shells. Tastes good and very filling.

Sweet Pork Barbaco is amazing and they make their own tortillas. Be careful when ordering food to go as it may not be correct. Ordered pork tacos and received chicken tacos.
Everytime I order extra meat on my togos, the salad never actually has extra meat. It has the sameand sometimes less than when I order in store somehow?
