Came here when another local cafe (Cafe Velo) cancelled our booking at the last minute without much reason. I'm glad it happened as we have now found an even better place for breakfast. Cafe V is a lovely place with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was truly lovely and the special hot chocolate is something else! Great place, great staff, great food ... what more could you ask for. We will be back ... our previous haunt is now a distant memory! Great service and quality pays. Thank you.
I love this place for so many reasons. There are a lot of cafés to choose from in Beverley, but this is the one I come back to again and again, despite being at the furthest end of town from where I live. Great choice of food, tasty and well-presented, always friendly service, and they're happy to adjust for unusual dietary requirements and preferences. It's my firm favourite here now.
Clean and bright. The food was really nice, just a little on the pricy side, in my opinion. A small breakfast consisted of 1 sausage, the eye of a slice of bacon, 1 egg and a small amount of beans on small rectangle plate, and a circular small plate with 2 slices of toast for £7. Scrambled egg on toast came in at £4 with a black coffee being around £2.50.
This is a lovely spot for breakfast and gathering with friends and family. The café is conveniently located near St. Mary Church, which you can see from the café. I had breakfast at this restaurant, and it was a fantastic way to kick off my visit to Beverley. The food was delicious, and the service was both friendly and quick. While it might not be the cheapest option, the quality is definitely worth it. The sausage and bacon were particularly excellent.
Lovely ladies to cook a great full English breakfast and a veggie breakfast plus a sausage bap. Good quality bacon and sausages used and poached eggs perfectly cooked. A clean not greasy plate of food well presented by 2 happy chatty local ladies. We were 3 southern softies made very welcome.
Just popped in for some takeaways. Espresso and teas. I didn’t order much, but the service was : 1. Friendly 2. Nailed my order 3. Made sure the tea was perfectly brewed so it didn’t get too strong. I’ve been bouncing all over Europe and this level of service is special, thank you so much!!!
Saw the tables in late afternoon sunshine and went in to order. I was met with a friendly service by the 2 young waitresses. We took our seats ant our Americano and cake was brought out- the lemon drizzle slice was excellent; the bakewell tart just as delicious. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
