This is still a firm favourite of mine when I am in the area visiting nearby charity shops and the Javea Tourist Office. Staff are always pleasant, baking of a high standard and worth trying the coffee croissant special served before 11am. The lunch time rolls made to order are well presented my favourite being a seeded roll with ham salad. If you are on your own and have time to relax, it also is a good time to catch up on news by reading an English or German newspaper. The restaurant interior toilets are spotless. Best to go there in the morning or at lunch time.
What could be simpler than a cup of tea, pan tostada y tomate? Trust me here it is just too much to ask. The toast isn't...it is bread, the oil...well it does not exist and is not brought to the table and the tomato should be grated but they chopped it! I cannot imagine that this was so difficult but WORSE!! They still charged even though it was untouched. The waitress was pretty dodgy but the owner is worse. My advice is stay away as there is so much better out there. To be fair, they are closed for much of the year and I can quite see why.
This cafe is absolutely fabulous. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a courtyard and the prices are very reasonable. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the staff are really friendly. They speak Spanish, English and German at least. The food is lovely (Austrian) and one can buy sausages, bread and cakes at the counter as well. Very important for us is that dogs are allowed and even if you just order a coffee, the dog gets a biscuit as well.
Excellent little café for a cake, coffee or light lunch. Or in my case a curry wurst with all the trimmings, cooked to order, worth the 10 minutes wait! The inner yard is a great sun trap and a place to sit and enjoy yourself as the world goes by. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent service and fresh food, with speciality on breads and pastries baked fresh on premises. German food with Med twist. Fresh juices and lovely coffee. Would recommend for Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch.
We stopped here looking for another restaurant and had lunch. It's set in a lovely square nice and relaxing. We had a club sandwich and it was delicious
